python3-simplestreams software package provides Library and tools for using Simple Streams data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-simplestreams
python3-simplestreams is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-simplestreams package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-simplestreams *
You will get with python3-simplestreams package name, version, architecture and description in a table
